From the File Menu select Export as mp3. After providi= ng a filename a dialog box will appear to associate mp3 exports with the encoding file to convert the Audacity .wav file to an mp3 source.

Navigate to the file that was downloaded with the Lame encoder. The file should be something like: lame_enc.dll

Note: The next version of Audacity will have the encoder for mp3s built into the software = and this step will not be needed.
