Online Word Processor with ZoHo Writer

In my research for efriendlylearning solutions for the classroom I recently came across a tool that I really like. It is fortunate that it is still free in its "beta" version and teachers and students can take advantage of this inspiring tool.

Zoho Writer is an online word processor to create, format, store & share documents online.
The documents can be accessed from anywhere web-based computer. Document editing is so very similar to Microsoft Word tools with a WYSIWYG editor.
Your documents can be personal or you can share your documents with identified people or publish it for public viewing.

So, teachers let's start a list of ways this tool can be used with students...add your comments!
1. Co-authoring tool for any document
2. Students can peer edit to build better writing skills
3. Brainstorm topics for activating prior knowledge about a topic
4. Create a Top Ten List of items important to a topic
5. Alternative text for students who are struggling to read the textbook materials
6. Students can use the highlighting tools to explicitly mark the text to find main ideas and details
7. Keep your ideas coming...
